Qualification Certificate of Authority
Let DBI Qualify your Delaware LLC or Corporation to transact business in another state as a "foreign" entity (also known as Application for Certificate of Authority). A Delaware Corporation or LLC has the right to transact Interstate business without qualification in any other state. However, if your business has a location (such as: office, home office, warehouse) or employees in an another state you may be required to apply for "authority" (permission) to transact business from within the state (Intrastate Commerce). For more information about this topic see the Qualification section of the Delaware Incorporation Handbook. When you are ready to apply, we will obtain the Certificate of Good Standing (aka Certificate of Existence), complete the qualification application and file the documents in the state of your choice. Processing time varies by state, contact an Incorporation Specialist for details about normal processing time and any available Expedited Service options.
